The Setnic 6812 switching mode rectifier is designed to meet the stringent telecommunication applications. It nominally supplies DC 48V at 30A and delivers a maximum power of 1800W. The design uses advanced PWM technology with phase-shift topology (ZVS) to achieve higher efficiency and lower noise.
The advanced natural cooling design made the physical dimensions compact and can be paralleled for 4 units in the width of standard 19"¨ rack. With weight at only 7.5 kg. High reliability is achieved through careful selection of key Components and circuits design. The use of heavy duty heat sink for the power stage circuits has largely reduced the thermal stress of the power circuits.
When paralleling several units of Setnic 6812 for higher current applications, the load sharing among the rectifiers are automatically controlled to be within ±5%.The output voltage, when is in floating mode, can be adjusted from -42V to -58V.
While in equalize mode, power is deliver to the load and also charge current to the battery, the voltage can be adjusted
from -42V to -65V.
Setnic 6812 is designed with built-in fault monitoring circuits, which read the rectifier output voltage and output current and also give the alarm messages in local language when fault happens. All the fault alarm messages are indicated on the front panel LCD. The settings of output voltage and alarm level are programmable through the soft keys below the LCD For easy installation and future maintenance, all the connections are hot swappable plug-in from the rear panel. The built-in microprocessor control circuit makes the rectifier controlling operation flexible and suitable for intelligent power plant configuration.
Communication between rectifier and power plant control and supervisory unit is through the RS-485 port.
The typical applications for Setnic 6812 include: PABX, mobile base stations, emergency DC power plants, railway switching control system, satellite base station and process control equipment.
